01. Acceptance & Eligibility
By creating an account, downloading, or using the InterSemester Android application or web portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the service.
The service is intended for college and university students, faculty members, class representatives, and academic administrators aged 16 years or older.
02. Acceptable Use & Student Conduct
InterSemester is designed to provide reliable, distraction-free coordination. You agree not to:
- Submit intentionally fabricated, malicious, or misleading lecture times or classroom shifts.
- Attempt to bypass access controls or impersonate a Class Representative or faculty member.
- Engage in automated scraping, reverse engineering, or denial of service attacks against our APIs.
- Transmit unsolicited commercial messages or spam across community channels.
03. Class Representative (CR) Authority & Routine Updates
Students verified as Class Representatives (CRs) or Section Leads are entrusted with updating shared section routines. All changes submitted by CRs are timestamped and attributed to ensure accountability.
While InterSemester provides verification filters, students should always consult official institutional notices for critical examination schedules and administrative deadlines.
04. Intellectual Property Rights
The InterSemester name, logo, iconography, visual interface, and proprietary synchronization algorithms are the exclusive property of InterSemester Studio. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our platform without prior written authorization.
05. Service Availability & Offline Caching
We strive for 99.9% uptime. However, services may occasionally experience temporary interruptions due to scheduled server maintenance or third-party cloud infrastructure delays.
To mitigate campus connectivity issues, InterSemester automatically caches your latest synchronized routine locally on your Android device so you can view your schedule without an active cellular data connection.
06. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InterSemester Studio and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from schedule misalignments, missed classes, or reliance on third-party user-submitted timetable edits.
07. Termination & Updates to Terms
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate acceptable conduct policies or attempt unauthorized database manipulation.
We may revise these Terms periodically. Substantial changes will be highlighted within the application or via our official website. Continued use after changes implies acceptance of revised terms.
08. Governing Law & Inquiries
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
